About Comfab

Comfab was founded in 1981 as a family-owned business with four employees and a handful of fabrication equipment. Over four decades later, we've grown into a 50+ person shop trained in the latest fabrication and machining technology — and in 2025, we became 100% employee-owned through an ESOP, so the people building your parts also have a stake in the company itself.

What hasn't changed is the reason we started: partner with our customers to build affordable, high-quality parts so they can be profitable too. Today that means handling the whole job, start to finish, under one roof — most projects that come through our shop move through the same path (cut, fabricate, machine, finish, ship) without ever leaving our building or waiting on an outside vendor. We run Laser Cutting, CNC Bending and Roll Forming, MIG/TIG Welding, CNC Milling and Turning, Powder Coating, and 3D Printing in house, so a part goes from raw material to finished, shippable product on our floor.

That matters for two reasons: fewer handoffs means fewer chances for something to get lost, mismatched, or delayed between vendors — and it means one point of contact for your whole job, not five.
